Elba on Six Legs: Your Sustainable Travel Experience Starts with Blu Navy

More and more people are choosing to travel with their four-legged friends. Discover the best practices and what to bring with you for your ferry journey.

Company News

More and more people are choosing to travel with their four-legged friends, turning every crossing into a shared experience. This opportunity is now widely available on board our ferries and is a recognised right.

For this reason, Blu Navy has decided to support the Parti con me awareness campaign, promoted by the Elba-based dog association Let’s Dog, to help spread a culture of conscious and respectful hospitality towards our animal companions.

Let’s Dog has created “Parti con me” (link: https://letsdogelba.it/parti-con-me/), a free guide to help you make the most of your journey and stay on Elba together with your dog.
You will find valuable educational advice on preparing for your trip and guidance to help you understand your dog’s emotions in every situation. Particular attention is given to the ferry crossing, with best practices to ensure a pleasant journey for you, your pet and your fellow passengers.

Blu Navy warmly welcomes passengers travelling with dogs and other companion animals. On board our ferries, pets are allowed in the outdoor areas. On the Aethalia, however, passengers may also stay inside the lounge in the dedicated pet area, clearly marked with paw-print floor stickers and information signs.

For further information about good practices, travel requirements and the equipment you should bring with you, please visit the dedicated pages on our website.

We look forward to welcoming you on board!
