Blu Navy for Kids

A journey through creativity and sustainability: with Blu Navy for Kids, the schools of Elba Island turned recycled materials into miniature models of the Acciarello ferry.

An educational project that combines play, respect for the environment, and a deep love for the sea.

The creativity of Elba’s children sets sail towards the future

The “Blu Navy for Kids” contest came to a joyful close, a prize initiative promoted by Blu Navy to bring children closer to the values of cooperation and to awaken their talents and imagination.

The project involved the fifth-grade classes of primary schools across Elba Island, who were invited to build a model of our Acciarello ferry using only recycled materials.

An educational and fun activity, designed to spark creativity and ignite imagination, while also raising awareness among children and teachers about the importance of reducing waste and protecting the marine environment. It was also a way to introduce our world and our company to the youngest generations.

The schools responded with great enthusiasm: many unique and detailed models, enriched with captions and photos that told the story of each class’s creative journey.

During the award ceremony, each creation was welcomed with excitement — a true celebration of a project that beautifully combined play, sustainability, and a love for the sea.

Thank you to all the schools, teachers, boys and girls who took part in this edition of Blu Navy for Kids. See you next year!
