A city of strong appeal

Founded in Etruscan times, today Piombino is the second largest port city in Tuscany after Livorno and the main centre of Val di Cornia. Located between the sea and the mountains, the city not only offers beaches and natural areas of outstanding beauty, but also architectural monuments of considerable interest and works of art by masters such as Leonardo Da Vinci and Andrea Guardi.

HOW TO GET TO PIOMBINO

BY CAR

If you are travelling with your own vehicle, simply go to the Piombino port gate with a ticket. If, on the other hand, you would like to park to embark on foot, several pay-and-park car parks are available near the embarkation area.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The Piombino Marittima station is located in front of the ferry dock and is connected to the FS railway network. There is also a bus service available which takes you from Campiglia straight to Piombino Marittima station.
