Great news for all sailing lovers and Elba residents: we are super happy to announce that starting this year, we will be supporting Nicol Segnini, a young and talented sailor from Elba who is making waves in the international circuit.
Nicol towards Los Angeles 2028: a journey of sea and ambition
Nicol, who only started competing internationally last year, already has her sights set on the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. She has participated in prestigious competitions such as the European Championships, World Cups, and World Championships, and as a newly minted senior, she achieved an impressive seventh place at the 2024 Italian Olympic Classes Championships.
2025 promises to be an exciting year for Nicol, with events ranging from the Italy Cup in Sardinia to the Europa Cup, the Senior European Championship in Sweden, and other international competitions.
Nicol is passionate about representing Elba Island on the global stage through sailing, a sport she loves and that reflects the beauty and spirit of the island. And we at Blu Navy can’t wait to set sail with her.
